Oh Sovereign and Mysterious spirit Chango who directs the destiny of our lives, watch over me. Humbly I pray that you light the way for me to obtain, through your secrets and great power as a warrior, fortune and luck in my job, business and gambling so that I can take care of my needs and gain a joyful soul and peace of mind. I kneel before your image, I admire your power, strength, and knowledge, and I ask for your benevolence. In the name of God and the Holy Spirit, protect me from all evil influences and evil thoughts and intentions of my enemies. There will be no need to retreat because you will be with me and you will help me in all of my needs. Chango, my guide and protector, grant me ________ (say here what you need help with). In the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Someone asked me today, via a Facebook group I’m in, if I had ever “seen” demons and how would I cast them out of a person since I am not Catholic.
This is a tricky question since I have not seen evil spirits with my naked eye. I have, however felt their presence and on occasion smelled them. I have seen their effects. On one occasion, I was praying with two other women for another woman who had just escaped a dangerous cult. I had my hands on her shoulders as did one other of my friends. The other friend was holding her hands lightly as you do sometimes when you pray for someone. As we kept praying for this woman, my friend who was holding her hands began to get very uncomfortable. I could tell that she was in pain. This was about 20 minutes in. We continued to pray for this woman for another 20 or 30 minutes. Afterwards, I could tell that she had been set free from at least one evil spirit. However, upon speaking with my friend who was holding her hands she showed me her wrists, whom no one had touched. The insides of her arms were black and blue from her wrist all the way to her elbows. So we went across the street (we were at an outdoor venue) and prayed for her. After about 10 minutes, her skin was back to normal.
On another occasion, I was praying with another friend over a teenage boy who we knew was being oppressed by evil spirits. After several long minutes of prayer, we took authority over the spirit in Jesus’ name and it literally fell off him and landed with a thump in some loose dirt near us. We heard the thump and saw the dirt fly up. We could also see the shape of the spirit who had fallen off of him in the dirt.
On yet another occasion, I was with a group of friends at a park in my hometown. It was after dark and we had all previously agreed to go there just to get together to pray, fellowship and worship God. At one point during the night, we all sat down in a circle holding hands and began to pray. On my right was a twenty-something man I had come to know through the ministry I had been working with. I knew he was troubled and probably had at least one spirit attached to him, but at this moment, I really wasn’t thinking about that. I just wanted to pray and worship. After we all joined hands and began to pray, I felt a burning sensation starting at the bottom of my arm (at my wrist) and slowly moving up towards my neck. To say that it was uncomfortable would be a massive understatement. It felt like my arm was on fire, but to the naked eye nothing seemed amiss. I remember I kept thinking, “I don’t want to touch him,” and I wanted to withdraw my hand from his, but we were all still praying so I endured it. A few moments after that, the girl on my left (who was a friend of mine) abruptly got up and left the circle. She went a few yards away in the dark and sat on a bench and began to cry. I left the prayer circle to see what was the matter with her. The bench was rectangular shaped and narrow so we were both straddling it sitting across from each other so that we could face each other. I touched her hand and got that burning sensation again, but this time I did not mentally or physically pull away. I got closer to her and began to pray taking authority in Jesus’ name over any evil spirit that was controlling her. She began to cry harder and I felt her try to start pulling away from me. I held on to her hands and closed my eyes repeating my statements that this spirit had no authority over her because she was in Christ and that in Jesus’ name it had to leave and go wherever Christ sent it. I also began to pray for the Holy Spirit to come fill each of us and to bring us peace. I also asked for our angels to come be with us to protect us. This went on for the next hour or so. Finally, I physically felt the spirit leave. It left through my body and rocked me backwards. I felt as if I had been punched in the gut and I could not breathe for several minutes. When we both recovered, I took one look at her and knew in my spirit that she had been freed. Despite her tears, she was smiling, hugging me and had a light emanating from within her that I knew and felt was the Holy Spirit.
These are just a few of the times I have encountered demons or evil spirits. I don’t want to seem like I did this all by myself. I didn’t. I had spent the previous year pretty much hermited away in my apartment in deep daily study of Scripture and I had been going to church. I was also working in a Christian street ministry, teaching bible study and running a battered women’s shelter out of my apartment. I feel like in these instances, and in all of the others I have experienced, that I was in the right place at the right time; had the right knowledge and more importantly was willing to be used of God. There is a saying in Christian circles that I fully endorse which goes like this: God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the Called. Meaning simply this, that if you are in Christ and are willing to know God, willing to learn and willing to be led by the Holy Spirit God will use you to help all kinds of people.
Now on to the second part of the question: if I am not Catholic how do I get the demons to come out or off of a person?
First of all, let me state that I don’t believe the Catholic church has the sole market on demonology. I have nothing against the Catholic church or Catholics for that matter. I used to be one. As a matter of fact, I prefer Catholic churches simply because of their architecture, icons and ceremony. It’s all very mystical. That being said, if you go by Scripture, each person who is in Christ (a believer) is at the moment of salvation placed in Christ and seated with him in the heavenly places with all principalities, powers and princes (these are levels of demons) at their feet because of their belief in Christ. I’m not saying that we should all go around casting out demons and I am not saying there is a demon around every corner. However, I do think that it is vitally important that each believer in Christ know, without a doubt, their position in Christ, what this affords them and what responsibilities they have towards other believers.
Eph 2:4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
Eph 2:6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Ephesians is one of my favorite books in the Bible for this reason. It tells us plainly who we were before Christ and who we become after we believe. This is a very powerful teaching, I think, and one that should be meditated on.
The last part of Ephesians also talks about putting on the armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the evil one and evil spirits.
Eph 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.
Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.
Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
Eph 6:15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
Eph 6:17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
Eph 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
This was written at a time when people actually did wear armor and they understood it’s uses and therefore were able to extrapolate from their experiences what this passage meant. Today, we don’t wear physical armor, although we do speak metaphorically of putting up emotional walls and such. In prayer, when you “put on” the armor of God, you do it with your mind and with your belief. Our mind is very powerful and can create a very powerful barrier using this Scripture as a guide. When I pray and put on this armor I visualize a bright ring of white light ringing around me in every place that the armor goes. For instance, when I put on the helmet of salvation, I imagine a that bright ring of white light encircling my head at my third eye chakra. For the breastplate of righteousness, I imagine it going around my heart chakra and so on. When I am done, I mentally connect them all with a transparent shield of light connecting the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the girdle of truth and the shoes of peace. This transparent light not only connects all of these components but encircles my entire body as well. I also visualize a thick golden braided cord going from my crown chakra all the way up to heaven connecting me with God. All of these components of the armor of God also have distinct meanings on their own:
1. The helmet of salvation represents your knowledge, without a doubt, of your salvation and your place in Christ. This knowledge is your mental protection from evil spirits since they will always try to make you believe that you are not good enough for God or that your salvation isn’t sure or that once you sin you become disconnected from God. These things are simply not true. Every spiritual battle begins in the mind and therefore it is important that we protect ourselves in this way.
Rom 8:38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,
Rom 8:39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
2. The breastplate of righteousness represents our righteousness in Christ. Before Christ, our spirits were dead because of sin, but once we are in Christ, our spirits are made alive and Christ connects with us through the Holy Spirit and lives in our spirits. All of our past misdeeds are gone and we are made new people. God now sees us as righteous through our belief in Christ. Again, this is important since evil spirits will try to convince you that you are not good enough for God because of the things you have done in the past or that you need to “fix” yourself before you come to God. And again these things are not true.
Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
Eph 2:6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.
Eph 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God,
3. The girdle of truth represents our knowledge of the truth of Christ, our position in Christ and the truth of what He says about us as believers. The Scripture is a powerful tool in distinguishing truth from lies. Evil spirits lie. That is their nature. What is more damaging is when the truth is mixed with lies so that it makes it more believable. If you feel unworthy or if you feel like you could never be one with Christ or one with God this not true. Christ was made manifest in this reality so that we all wouldn’t have to feel this way. So that we could be free from self doubt and free from the torture of evil spirits.
Joh 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.
1Co_1:30 It is God who has made you part of Christ Jesus. And Christ has become for us wisdom from God. He is the reason we are right with God and pure enough to be in his presence. Christ is the one who set us free from sin.
Joh 8:36 So if the Son makes you free, you are really free.
4. The shoes of the gospel of peace represent simply our knowledge that we have peace with God through Christ. We are no longer enemies of God, but children of God.
Rom_5:1 We have been made right with God because of our faith. So we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
There is a theme running through all of this: knowledge. As I said earlier, every spiritual battle begins in the mind and it is vitally important that we protect our minds against the psychic attack of evil spirits and sometimes from our own self doubt and accusations.
This whole set up of the armor of God is held up through prayer (or meditation if you like). Prayer is our direct like to God (the Source). Prayer raises our vibrations through our connection with God. If we don’t pray or meditate daily, chances are we will either feel like crap and/or our self doubts will begin to creep up on us and we will wind up in a bad place spiritually and mentally. The purpose of all of this is to bring us closer to God/the Source so that we can raise our vibrations and in turn connect with our higher selves. Then, we can begin to look outward instead of inward and begin to share what gifts we have been given with others so that they, too, can be closer to God.
Demonology is a very fancy and salacious word and, I believe, that being in Christ is not all about chasing demons. It’s about getting to know ourselves, raising our vibrations and helping others. Along the way, we sometimes encounter evil spirits and they have to be taken care of in a careful and Scriptural way, but then we just go back to worshiping the Source of all things who brings light into the world. Light chases away all darkness. If we are in Christ, we too are lights in the world. Wherever we go we bring that light with us and the evil spirits are afraid of it.
I believe that we should love one another with the love the Christ put in our hearts and I believe that we should help one another get closer to God with that love. Demons are just an aside.

Eph 3:20 With God’s power working in us, he can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of.
Eph 3:21 To him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus for all time, forever and ever. Amen.
I got this prayer from a friend of mine:
In the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
May the angels of heaven be sent forth to protect us as we go forth as God’s servants to do His will.
Defend us O Lord from all the powers of darkness; protect us with your holy angels from the attacks of the evil ones; and from the evil wishes, wicked knowledge and psychic attacks of our brothers and sisters who work evil against us, either intentionally or through ignorance; help us Lord to refuse and rebuke all evil in Your Name.
I come in the Name of Jesus. Under His authority. under His banner, under the protection of His Blood.
In the Name of Jesus, I hereby repent and renounce any wicked deed or act that has ever been done in this place or in the hearts of those that have ever lived here.
In the Name and by the authority of Jesus, and by the power of His Precious Blood. I hereby bind and make it known to all spirits not in the worship of God, that you may no longer exercise dominion over this place and to those who live here. In the Name of Jesus, I command you to stop all evil activities and attacks now.
In the Name of Jesus, I hereby break any contracts, agreements, curses, spells or any legal rights held by any evil spirit over this place, and over all those that live here. Whatever reason or act, be it intentional or unintentional, that brought you here or that sent you here, I break it right now in Jesus’ name. You have no authority here. The contract of Calvary renders any authority you might think you have null and void. A contract written in Jesus’ own blood. A contract that states that Jesus paid in full, with His Precious Blood, for this place and all the souls that live here. This place and all those who live here belong to Jesus, and have so ever since He defeated you at the cross. It is Jesus that has full authority here now, and you are trespassing on His property and in the lives of His people.
I plead the Blood of Jesus against you evil spirits, and by the power of that Blood and in the Name of Jesus, I hereby close and seal all entry points, portals, or doorways that have been opened in this place, whether intentionally or by ignorance. And, to any evil or demonic spirits here in this place, not in the worship of God; In the name of Jesus I bind you and command you never again to return; never again to obey those that may have sent you; never again to return even through recognition, invitation, or command.
As the darkness flees from the light, and the wicked from the sight of God.
You dark and wicked spirits, In the Name of Jesus, I command you to leave this place now and never return.
You dark and wicked spirits, In the Name of Jesus, I command you to leave this place now and never return.
You dark and wicked spirits, In the Name of Jesus Christ the Son of God, I command you to leave this place now and never return.
In the Name of Jesus, I pray for the Holy Spirit to come into this place. I pray for the peace, the love, and the light of the Holy Spirit to fill this place. To fill this property, this house, every room, every closet, every cabinet, inside the walls, under the floors, in the basement, the crawlspaces, the attic, every crack and every crevice. Let there be no dark place for the evil ones to hide or return to. I pray Lord and ask in Jesus’ Name, that you set up a hedge of angels around this place. To guard over and protect this place, and all those who live here.
I pray Lord that Your Holy Spirit will draw all the people living here closer to You. I pray that You will reveal Your Glory and Your presence to them. That they may know that You are God, and that You are in control. And that no evil shall ever prevail over You, or to those that love You and draw near to You.
In the Name of Jesus, as it is written, so let it be done.
This is an affirmation of faith based on scripture. It is very helpful in attempting to determine which area (s) of a person’s life (or your own life) are subject to demonic activity. If they stumble, stutter, freeze up, start crying, get distracted, get scared, laugh or display any other aversions to speaking the affirmations of faith then you can be fairly sure that there is something going on in that area of their life. That being said, you cannot force anyone to do something they don’t want to do. If a person says they are not ready then you must take them at their word and just keep praying for them until they are ready. I am not a “devil behind every bush” person, but I won’t deny that they are present and seek to destroy people and their lives and families. I have first hand experience in this. I have included the scripture references in case anyone needs them.
Today I deliberately choose to submit myself fully to God as he has made Himself known to me through the Holy Scripture. In this day I will not judge God, his work, myself or others on the basis of feelings or circumstances.
1. I recognize by faith that the triune God is worthy of all honor, praise and worship as the Creator, Sustainer and End of all things. I confess that God, as my Creator, made me for himself. In this day I therefore choose to live for Him. (Revelations 5:9; Isaiah 43:1, 7, 21; Revelations 4:11)
2. I recognize by faith that God loved me and chose me in Jesus Christ before time began. (Ephesians 1:1-7)
3. I recognize by faith that God has proven his love to me in sending His Son to die in my place, in whom every provision has already been made for my past, present and future needs through His representative work, and that I have been quickened, raised, seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies, and anointed with the Holy Spirit. (Romans 5:6-11; 8:28-39; Philippians 1:6; 4:6-7, 13, 19; Ephesians 1:3, 2:5-6; Acts 2:1-4, 33)
4. I recognize by faith that God has accepted me since I have received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour; that He has forgiven me; adopted me into His family assuming every responsibility for me; given me eternal life; applied the perfect righteousness of Christ to me so that I am now justified; made me complete in Christ; and offers Himself to me as my daily sufficiency through prayer and the decisions of faith. (John 1:12; Ephesians 1:6; Ephesians 1:7; John 17:11, 17; Ephesians 1;5; Philippians 1:6; John 3:36; 1 John 5: 9-13; Romans 5:1; 8:3-4; 10:4; Colossians 2:10; 1 Corinthians 1:30; Colossians 1:27; Galatians 2:20; John 14:13-14; Matthew 21:22; Romans 6:1-19; Hebrews 4:1-3, 11)
5. I recognize by faith that the Holy Spirit has baptized me into the Body of Christ; sealed me; anointed me for life and service; seeks to lead me into a deeper walk with Jesus Christ; and to fill my life with Himself. (1 Corinthians 12:13; 1:13-14; Acts 1:8; John 7:37-39; John 14:16-18; 15:26-27; 16:13-15; Romans 8:11-16; Ephesians 5:18)
6. I recognize by faith that only God can deal with sin and only God can produce holiness of life. I confess that in my salvation my part was only to receive Him and that He dealt with my sin and saved me. Now I confess that in order to live a holy life, I can only surrender to His will and receive Him as my sanctification; trusting Him to do whatever may be necessary in my life, without and within, so I may be enabled to live today in purity, freedom, rest and power for His glory. (John 1:12; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Galatians 2:20; Hebrews 4:9; 1 John 5:4; Jude 24)
Having confessed that God is worthy of all praise, that only God can deal with sin and produce holiness of life, I again recognize my total dependence upon Him and submission to Him. I accept the truth that praying in faith is absolutely necessary for the realization of the will and grace of God in my daily life. (1 John 5:14-15; James 2:6; 4:2-3; 5:16-18; Philippians 4:6-7; Hebrews 4:1-13; 11:6, 24-28)
Recognizing that faith is a total response to God by which the daily provisions the lord has furnished in Himself are appropriated, I therefore make the following decisions of faith:
1. For this day, I make the decision of faith to surrender wholly to the authority of God as He has revealed Himself in the Scripture-to obey Him. I confess my sin, face the sinful reality of my old nature, and deliberately choose to walk in the light, in step with Christ throughout the hours of this day. (Hebrews 3:6, 13, 15; 4:7; Romans 6;16-20; Philippians 2:12-13; 1 John 1:7, 9)
2. For this day I make the decision of faith to surrender wholly to the as revealed in the Scripture-to believe Him. I accept His word into my heart and mind. I now believe that since I have confessed my sin He has forgiven and cleansed me. I accept at full value His Word of promise to be my sufficiency and rest and will conduct myself accordingly. ( 1 John 1:9; Exodus 33:1; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Philippians 4:19)
3. For this day I make the decision of faith to recognize that God has made every provision so that I may fulfill His will and calling. Therefore, I will not make any excuse for my sin and failure. (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
3. For this day I make the decision of faith deliberately to receive from God that provision which He has made for me. I renounce all self-effort to live the Christian life and to perform God’s service; renounce all sinful praying which asks God to change circumstances and people so that I may be more spiritual; renounce all drawing back from the work of the Holy Spirit within and the call of God without; and renounce all non-biblical motives, goals and activities with serve my sinful pride.
4. I now sincerely receive Jesus Christ as my sanctification, particularly as my as my cleansing from the old nature and ask the Holy Spirit to apply to me the work of Christ accomplished for me in the crucifixion. In cooperation with and in dependence upon HIm I obey the command to “put off the old man”. (Romans 6:1-4; 1 Corinthians 1:30; Galatians 6:14: Ephesians 4:22)
5. I now sincerely receive Jesus Christ as my sanctification particularly as my enablement moment by moment to live above sin and ask the Holy Spirit to apply to me the work of the resurrection so that I may walk in newness of life. I confess that only God can deal with my sin and only God can produce holiness and the fruit of the Spirit in my life. In cooperation with and in dependence upon Him, I obey the command to “put on the new man”. (Romans 6:1-4; Ephesians 4:24)
6. I now sincerely receive Jesus Christ as my deliverance from Satan and take my position with Him in the heavenlies asking the Holy Spirit to apply to me the work of the ascension. In His name I submit myself to God and stand against all of Satan’s influence and subtlety. In cooperation with and in dependence upon God I obey the command to “resist the devil”. (Ephesians 1:20-23; 2:5; 4:27; 6:10-18; Colossians 1:13; Hebrews 2:14-15; James 4:7; 1 Peter 3:22; 5:8-9)
7. I now sincerely receive the Holy Spirit as my anointing for every aspect of life and service for today. I fully open my life to Him to fill me afresh in obedience to the command to “be filled with the Holy Spirit”. (Ephesians 5:18; John 7:37-39; 14:16-17; 15:26-27; 16:7-15; Acts 1:8)
Having made this confession and these decisions of faith, I now receive God’s promised rest for this day. Therefore, I relax in the trust of faith knowing that in the moment of temptation, trial or need the Lord Himself will be there as my strength and sufficiency. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
~Mark I. Bubeck-The Adversary: The Christian Versus Demonic Activity
I have been woefully neglecting warfare praying over my daughter. I do pray over her, but not specifically doctrinal warfare praying. I included this prayer in my daily warfare prayers today:
Prayer Over Your Child
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I praise my heavenly Father that He has entrusted me with my child <name of child>. I accept all responsibility that God places upon me to be a parent and a priest/priestess of God in <name of child>’s life. As a priest/priestess of God in my child’s life, and purchased by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, I here and now renounce and repudiate all the sins of <name of child>’s blood ancestors. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I cancel out ll demonic working that would want to be passed on to <name of child> from his/her blood ancestors. I aggressively announce against Satan and all of his forces that I cover <name of child> with the protection of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit. As one who has authority over all powers of darkness through my union with the lord Jesus Christ, and since I am seated with Him in heavenly places, I renounce any and every way in which Satan may claim ownership of <name of child> . I pull down all blindness which Satan would put on <name of child>’s eyes to keep him/her from understanding spiritual truth and growing to love and serve my Lord and Savior. As the legal parent in the eyes of God and as a priest/priestess of God in <name of child>’s life, I completely sign him/her over to the keeping and saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ. As the priest/priestess of God in <name of child>’s life, I cancel and take back all ground given to Satan by his/her ancestors. I claim that ground through the victory over Satan achieved by the Lord Jesus Christ in His redemptive work and cover all ground with His precious blood that Satan may have no claim over <name of child> . All of this I do in the name and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ and will accept in my child’s life only that which comes by way of the cross and through God’s grace. Amen.
This prayer was kind of hard for me to pray. I stuttered and stopped several times, which sometimes can indicate a stronghold over the person being prayed over. When I use the word “stronghold” what I mean is any place that a demonic force has gained entry into a person’s life through sin or a generational inheritance. For instance, I inherited several generational demonic forces through my family. I had to go through several deliverance sessions in order to be free of them. In the spiritual realm, generational demons have a legal right to be in your life due to the things that your ancestors did. They just attach themselves to a family and lurk around for years until they are made to go away.
I prayed this prayer specifically because my daughter’s father is not around and I don’t know his family at all. Also, we can never know what can be passed down, spiritually, from generation to generation.
In the same vein, here is a prayer to renounce all demonic generational activity from your own life. I’ve used this prayer many times.
Renunciation and Affirmation
As a child of God purchased by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, I here and now renounce and repudiate all the sins of my ancestors. As one who has been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son, I cancel out all demonic working that has been passed on to me from my ancestors. As one who has been crucified with Jesus Christ and raised to walk in newness of life, I cancel every curse that may have been put upon me. I announce to Satan and all his forces that Christ became a curse for me when He hung on the cross. As one who has been crucified and raised with Christ and now sites with Him in heavenly places, I renounce any and every way in which Satan my claim ownership of me. I declare myself to be eternally and completely signed over and committed to the Lord Jesus Christ. All this I do in the name and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Yesterday was a big day for me. I spent most of it fasting and in prayer and casting protection spells. I hadn’t gotten any sleep due to being totally stressed out about all the possibilities running through my head that could happen should my stalker find me and my daughter.
The first thing I did was pray the Warfare Prayer. Then, I prayed the Armor of God prayer. After that, I made some coffee and rested for a bit. Yesterday was a day when I felt spiritually attacked pretty much all day. The negative thoughts about the person who is threatening me just would not go away. I would take one captive, push it away, ask the Holy Spirit to fill that space with positive, God-type thoughts and then another one would come. It was a rapid-fire brain assault. I broke down crying while I was making coffee feeling despair overwhelm me. The main thought that kept coming to my head was that I should give up because there was no way I would ever be able to win against him. After I dried my tears, I realized that that thought was nothing but him flinging his negativity at me and his evil spirits deviling me. Understand, I am not a devil-behind-every-door person. He has threatened to take my daughter from me and has threatened me personally, so, in this case, I believe that my assessment was spot on.
After I got myself together, I brought out my book of spells and found the prayer to St. Micheal the Archangel. It is basically a prayer of protection. You have to pray it in each of the four corners in each of the rooms in your house/apartment. Then you put salt on all the windowsills, doorways and under your bed.
Here is the prayer:
St. Micheal the Archangel, defend us (me) in battle.
Be our (my) protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him we (I) humbly pray.
And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
After, I finished this, I then realigned my chakras. The meditation I did you can find here.
The negative thoughts continued for most of the day unabated. I battled and battled with them. A friend of mine I talked to yesterday reminded me to break the soul-tie between him and myself. She reminded me that that might be one of the reasons why I was feeling his negativity so strongly. I have broken soul-ties before, so I knew already knew how to do it. For those who are not familiar with a soul-tie, I will explain: A soul-tie is formed when two people become connected spiritually, emotionally, or physically. I always thought of it like this: When you connect with a person, a part of your soul stays with them and a part of their soul stays with you. That’s why it is so important to watch who you get close to. All people are not good and don’t have your best interests at heart. Everyone is at a different place in their lives and some people, quite frankly, are most interested in themselves, what they can attain and what they can get from you or what they can do to you. Suffice it to say, I was foolish for getting close to this person, but I have learned an important lesson and one that I’m not likely to forget.
This is how you break a soul-tie:
Think about that person and everything that you two have experienced together. Think about all your feelings toward that person and their feelings toward you. Basically EVERYTHING having to do with your relationship with that person. Focus on it and try not to get distracted. You are trying to repair your spirit and this is important business. Then pray:
In Jesus’ name, I break the soul-tie between myself and (name of person). Heavenly Father, I pray that you would heal my spirit and make me whole again. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that you would fill that space and heal my broken spirit. Jesus, please intercede for me with the Father so that I may be healed. I forgive (person’s name) for everything they have done to me. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
The prayer doesn’t have to go exactly like this. It doesn’t have to be word-for-word, but you have to do it in Jesus’ name. It’s Jesus’ power that breaks the bond, not yours. If you have had multiple partners and have never done this before, you may want to take a day or so and write down the names of who you have been with that you want to separate from. I had to do this in my twenties. It took several days and praying for God to help me remember the names. I also had someone with me who was more mature in Christ than myself. This person stayed with me and prayed with me to break the soul-ties. This is very advisable, for the Scripture says:
James_5:16 Therefore, make it your habit to confess your sins to one another and to pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Mat 18:18 “I tell you with certainty, whatever you prohibit on earth will have been prohibited in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will have been permitted in heaven.
Mat 18:19 Furthermore, I tell you with certainty that if two of you agree on earth about anything you request, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven,
Mat 18:20 because where two or three have come together in my name, I am there among them.”
After I completed this, the attacks on my mind stopped. It was getting so bad that I couldn’t concentrate on anything.
Later that night, before midnight, I did a Protection and Binding spell to further protect myself from this person and to bind him from doing any harm to me or to anyone I love.
I got this spell from a Druidic High Priestess who has been practicing Druidism for twenty plus years.
Protection and Binding Spell
1. Black Candle or dark candle (There were no black candles at the store I was in so I got a black cherry one. It was the darkest one I could find. It doesn’t have to be expensive. A 99 cent candle will do just fine. Also, be sure to carve the name of the person you want to bind into the candle.)
2. Black or dark stone (I didn’t have a black stone on hand, but I had a brown one with red undertones, which I was told would work just fine.)
3. Sea Salt
4. White thread, yarn or embroidery yarn
5. Patchouli incense or white sage (I couldn’t find Patchouli incense or white sage, so I bought some that was sort of earthy smelling. It was similar to Patchouli.)
6. A picture of the person you wish to bind. (You need a picture or something of theirs. Something they owned.)
Twelve hours before you do the spell, put the stone and the salt in the freezer. The cold will cleanse them. Be sure to leave them there for at least twelve hours.
I did the ritual on the last night of the dark of the moon. The Priestess told me that this was a very powerful time and that it would not happen again for a couple of years. Also, that I needed to do the spell before midnight.
After the twelve hour mark and before midnight, get all of the ingredients together and place on a table. Use the salt and put down a salt barrier around yourself and the table. DO NOT BREAK THE CIRCLE ONCE YOU HAVE LAID IT. if you leave the circle or someone enters the circle you will have to start over.
Light your candle and light the incense. DO NOT BLOW EITHER OUT. They both must burn all the way down. If you are carving the person’s name in your candle, do it BEFORE you light it.
Once they are both lit, focus on a white light of protection around you so bright that it takes up the whole circle. So bright that when you open your eyes you have to squint. (What I did was imagine the light coming up from the salt forming a protective “bubble” around me. Then, I visualized my own light coming out of me and focused on making it really strong and bright.)
Then focus on the picture of the person you want to bind. Focus on their face and body and imagine jail or prison bars around them or something similar. (I took my finger *remember you can use your finger as a wand* and felt energy coming out of it and drew bars with my finger over his face and body. I drew so many that he was completely obscured.) You want to build a wall or a fortress around that person.
Then, call the corners (quarters). This is a really simple way to do it:
I call upon East, the direction of Air.
I call upon North, the direction of Earth.
I call upon West, the direction of my ancestors and Water.
I call upon South, the direction of Fire.
I ask that you aid me in these protection workings.
Then, call upon Kali (KAH-li) (If and only if you are binding a man. Kahli is the goddess and protector of women and hates men.) Ask her to aid you. This is where you have to improvise. I told Kahli that I was in fear for my life was being threatened and that I feared for my daughter as well. You must be especially gracious to her. She will hear you! Just tell her what is going on and why you are asking for and need her protection. This is my first encounter with her, but I got the feeling that we shouldn’t be asking her for frivolous things. If my life and my daughter were not being threatened, I don’t think I would have petitioned her. I could be wrong, but this was my impression of her.
Once that is done, take the picture and thread and wrap the thread around the picture until you can’t see any part of the picture. While you are doing this, say:
(Name), with the protection of Kali, you will not harm me or anyone I love.
MEAN IT WHEN YOU SAY IT!! Repeat this over and over until the picture is covered. (I wound up having to fold the picture several times because, as I wrapped it more and more with the thread, the picture would warp and was hard to handle. I figured it would be better just to keep folding it smaller, rather than creating frustration and losing my focus. Also, if I ever do this spell again, I’m getting white yarn. I had white sewing thread which was very hard to deal with and took a long time to cover the picture. The time wouldn’t have been an issue if my daughter hadn’t been awake, but she was and there is only so much time a two year old, even a well behaved two year old, can be still.)
Once that’s done, hold the bound picture in your hands for about five or ten minutes since you will likely be upset and nervous. (I wasn’t nervous, but I was angry. I was livid, so I had to take a few moments to regain my composure and to let the anger dissipate.) While you are holding the picture in your hands, focus on your child/children/home/yourself. Do the white light protection again.
Once that’s done, close the corners (quarters):
East, thank you for aiding me tonight. Go if you must. Stay if you will. Hail to you and farewell.
North, thank you for aiding me tonight. Go if you must. Stay if you will. Hail to you and farewell.
West, thank you for aiding me tonight. Go if you must. Stay if you will. Hail to you and farewell.
South, thank you for aiding me tonight. Go if you must. Stay if you will. Hail to you and farewell.
It is most important to say a gracious thanks to Kali. Bid her sincerest thanks and fare thee well. Tell her to go or stay, but that you would prefer she watch over you as long as she deems necessary.
Once, all that is done, you can break the salt barrier. Put the binding somewhere in a box and seal it. Put it high up where it CANNOT BE TOUCHED.
After the binding is secured, then you need to put the stone somewhere that you can keep it on you at all times. Then, take at least a fifteen minute sea salt bath to cleanse your body of any negativity. After that, you will sleep like a ROCK.
If you have a sachet, put the stone in it and keep it under your pillow at night. During the day, keep it on you at all times. Put it in your pocket; on a chain; put it into a ring. Just keep it on you.
DO NOT BLOW THE CANDLE OUT. LET IT BURN ALL THE WAY DOWN.
I had to start and stop this spell about four times because my daughter kept walking into the circle. I would thank the spirits profusely, apologize profusely and tell them that I would have to come back to them later. I got my daughter calmed down, since she was crying pretty hard (It’s hard to explain things like this to a two year old. She just knew she wanted to sit in my lap and didn’t understand why she couldn’t. So I let her sit in my chair, turned on cartoons, gave her some soda, <which she never gets>, her teddy bear and some snacks and she was set.) and eventually, by telling her that she could help me do the spell, I was able to get back to it.
After the spell was finished, I cleaned everything up and took the bath. About thirty to forty five minutes after that, the tiredness hit me. It wasn’t just a tired like I had been at work all day and needed to crash. It was a bone tiredness. I felt tired like I did after my dad died and after I had given birth and spent two weeks in the NICU with my daughter. I was tired physically, but moreso, I was tired spiritually. I put my daughter to bed and fell into bed. I didn’t even dream.
Today, I woke up feeling weak and shaky. I tried to bolster myself with coffee, because I was scheduled to go on a job interview this afternoon, but it didn’t work. I had to reschedule. I’m pretty stubborn, so I had already fixed my hair and makeup, dressed myself and my daughter before I gave in and realized I would never be able to pass the skills tests they had scheduled for me. I was frustrated and disappointed, but I figure if the universe wants me there, I will be. If not, then not. I’m done trying to swim upstream and trying to force the square peg into the round hole.
Merry Part and Blessings Be!
