Regarding managing emotions, I count myself among many other people who struggle with this particular part of life. I had a graphic that I was going to post, but it seems as though it has gone missing along with so many other things I can’t seem to find in my house when I need them.
Anyway, the graphic goes something like this: As human beings we are vessels filled with all kinds of emotions, which is a good thing, in my humble opinion. It is the way we express our emotions and whether or not they are appropriate at the time/place we express them is the issue of the graphic.
An example: A parent with a 5-year-old child attempts to reason with their child about an action they have taken which the parent considers to be wrong (dragging the cat by one leg across the floor or by the tail; shouting at parent or other children; hitting or otherwise hurting another child are some examples of this). Of course, the child will be automatically on the defensive when/if the parent confronts the child about this behavior. The parent, in this instance has to choose what kind of emotion to display to their child: outright anger, which may lead to punitive punishment(s) or patience and calmness leading to a dialogue with the child which is done on their level of understanding so that the child understands that whatever action they have done was wrong and ways to figure out how to not make that mistake again. A parent may think that when this dialogue is done that their child understands and that the issue is done and that the child won’t make that same mistake again, however, that parent would be wrong. Studies have shown that the frontal lobe of the brain, which is the place where impulsiveness and understanding of the consequences of our actions live, does not fully mature until the mid- 20s. Here is a link to an MIT article explaining how this works. If and/or when the child repeats the same mistake over and over again can make the parent extremely frustrated and angry and this anger my overtake any previous ideas of speaking calmly with their child. The parent may resort to outright punishment (this may include time outs, spankings, or escalations of any kind of violence towards the child). (My belief is that any kind of violence towards a child, even spanking, is sort of a “gateway” to more and more mistreatment of the child. This is why I choose not to spank. I used to use time-outs, but that just fostered emotional distance between myself and my child. So, now, we use “time-ins” where we both sit quietly for about 5 minutes and talk about what we are feeling and what we can do that can further a healthy relationship between ourselves. Also, we discuss what behavior is inappropriate and what is appropriate depending on the circumstance. Always remembering to speak to my child in way that she can understand. Otherwise, I’m just speaking into the air, which provides further frustration for me and my child.)
Before any violence or yelling takes place towards the child (or any other person an individual may be having problems with), it behooves the person who is trying to manage their emotions in a healthy way to stop and take a breath or even walk away for a few minutes to try to get some perspective on what is really happening instead of having a knee-jerk emotional reaction. I’m not saying that emotions are bad. We were given emotions for a reason and in the right time and place, displaying one’s emotions is great and appropriate. For instance: I can’t watch two people get married, whether is man/woman, man/man, woman/woman or any other kind of marriage without tearing up a little or outright crying. It’s not that I’m sad. I just feel so happy at weddings and that is the way my emotion at that time is displayed and I feel that this is appropriate as long as I don’t go into some kind of loud wailing or do something else to take attention off the wedding and onto myself. That would be totally inappropriate.
Mostly the emotion I’m speaking of here is anger, but this can also be applied to thoughts which take us down the spiral into depression. When I worked in a Christian street ministry and taught bible study, I referred to this as “taking every thought captive to the obedience of the Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5) Even though, at that time, I used this method in a bible study setting it does apply to every day life even if one does not espouse the Christian faith. When a thought comes along about my past, for instance, I can choose to either entertain that thought or cast it aside and opt for a more positive and/or more healthy thought pattern. Sometimes we choose to wallow in depression. I can’t say that I haven’t done this. I have. I tend to have the most trouble with this at night after my daughter has fallen asleep. Since I don’t have anything to distract me, it’s easier for those damaging thoughts to creep in. Again, the challenge here is to choose which thoughts to entertain. This can be a very hard process and it takes some time for a person to recognize certain thoughts as damaging and/or unhealthy before that person can begin to stop the cycle and take hold of their thoughts and choose to move toward a healthier place mentally and emotionally.
I am challenged with this on a daily basis several times a day. It so happens that my biggest challenges are dealing with anger, depression and anxiety. I want to model healthy behavior for my daughter, but am not always successful. So when I am not, I have made it a priority to try to explain to her, in a way that she can understand, that I am sorry for my bad/inappropriate behavior and that I will do my best to get better.
I don’t think I’m alone in struggling with this. In my humble opinion, managing one’s emotions is one of the things our society as a whole is seriously lacking. We don’t have very many models to go by. In our culture of instant gratification, if we (as a collective) perceive that we are not getting what we want we tend to lose our collective shit and jump right over the fence into proverbial left field.
This brings me to Donald Trump. This person is not a good model for managing emotions. He displays such a lack of emotional control that he can seem to be petty and childish at times. I don’t watch him speak very often as I try to stay away from the “news” because it depresses me, but seriously, my five-year-old has better control of her emotional outbursts. I’m not going to get into Trump-bashing, but suffice it to say: I did not vote for him.
A few days ago, on February 4th to be exact, there was a call for all witches or anyone who practices the magickal arts to perform a hexing and/or a binding on Donald Trump. I did not participate in that and here’s why.
- I subscribe to the belief of the universal law of “3 x 3”. Meaning, whatever energy you put out you get back times three, be it positive or negative. I don’t believe in “black” or “white” or “gray” magick. I believe it is the intent of the person performing whatever spell or ritual is done that makes it either dark, light or gray. Everyone has some darkness, some light and some gray areas. So again: intent is what matters here. If I had done a hexing or binding on Donald Trump, I would have invited that energy to come back and basically punch me in the face. Hard.
- I recently learned, after performing many binding spells, that whatever you bind is bound to you. A few years ago, out of desperation and fear for my life, I performed a binding ritual with a mirror or “bounce back” effect in it. Meaning that I bound the person from hurting me or my child and should that person attempt any harm towards me or my child that all the energy that was put into those actions or thoughts would, in effect, “bounce back” on that person. It’s sort of like a hex, but not overtly so because it all depends on how much negative energy that person puts out towards the caster of the binding spell. Now, after about 4 years, I realize that this person hardly ever leaves my thoughts. The hard part is that I do not want to think about this person, because I don’t want to draw that person’s thoughts towards me or my child. After some serious meditation on this issue and doing some research, I realized that as long as I keep this person bound with the spell, this person is bound to me because of the spell I did. I think it goes without saying that I do not, in any way, wish to bound in any sort of fashion (spiritual or otherwise) to Donald Trump. So, I left that alone.
- Whether for good or ill, Donald Trump is our president now. I believe that if he wasn’t meant to be in that position for some reason or other, that he would not be there. I don’t believe in coincidences or “luck”. I believe everything happens (or doesn’t happen) for a reason. I may not always understand that reason, but I don’t want to mess with what the universe has planned for Donald Trump. Also, and this may sound like it came directly from my mother, I believe that very soon he will have enough rope to metaphorically hang himself. I prefer to let him make his own messes and lie in his own bed rather than call on the spirits to do it for him. Again, I don’t want that energy to come back at me. I’m not judging anyone who participated. I think people, in general, should have the freedom to follow their beliefs. I follow mine. You follow yours. Live and let live.
- Finally, I don’t wish Donald Trump or his family any harm. I will, however, stock up on popcorn in anticipation of the day he makes his bed and then has to lay in it.
I haven’t posted anything for awhile, so I want to apologize to my followers for that. It seems as though just when I get going and things in my life are getting ironed out, I get kicked in the throat. Not to be entirely pessimistic, but this cycle has been going on for most of my life. I’m not sure why and this is something that I’ve been meditating on nearly every day during my absence.
An online friend introduced me to a man by the name of Alan Watts. He has passed on, but his videos are still quite prevalent on You Tube and I have been listening to them almost every day since he was made known to me. He was a Buddist with Hindu leanings and I’m not, but what he talks about makes a lot of sense to me, not to mention the fact that listening to him makes me feel like I’ve just let go a breath that I’ve been holding for years and years. This has to be a positive thing.
Ok now on to my Tarot Reading of the Day:
The first card I drew was the Ace of Wands.
This card represents new beginnings. You’ve planted your proverbial wand in the ground and from here there are many roads to choose. Since this card was drawn in the first position of a 4 card draw, my guides are telling me that this represents a point of time in the recent past. I’m not sure when. It could have been on Saturday when I finally committed to cleaning out my mother’s house. She died in October of 2015 of multiple heart attacks attributed to a congenital heart defect and COPD. Her death has been particularly hard on me, but on Saturday a friend of mine went with me to her house and I was able to get quite a bit packed up for donation to a local charity. This may be my new beginning. This is quite a positive card. My intuition is telling me that this card is telling me that I’m going in the right direction.
The second card that I drew was the Eight of Cups.
This card symbolizes diving deep into the subconscious or searching spiritually. Diving deep into the waters of your belief system or deep self examination. It’s highly introspective. This is representative of what I said above about meditating daily and listening to Alan Watts. I’m trying to change myself for the better. In my humble opinion, if we don’t change, we get stale and our spirit suffers and grows small and still. I, for one, want my spirit to be alive and I want to lean into my spiritual gifts not only so that I can help myself, but also so that I can help others. This card represents where I am at the present moment.
The third card I drew was the reversed Five of Pentacles.
This card shows a woman who is seemingly trapped in a bubble of her own inner pain. She doesn’t see the beauty around her because she is too focused on her own pain. However, I drew this card in reverse. So the reverse of this is true for me in the near future. This is a positive card in the reverse position (It can be seen as positive in the upright position as well. Showing a person that they are trapped in their own pain. Sometimes it’s good to get perspective on a situation so that we can move in a positive direction.) I hope that my world will open up and that I will have a chance to help others get out of their pain or at least begin to manage it. I believe this is one of the reasons I have incarnated in this place at this time: to help people ascend into the best version of themselves that they can be (This goes for myself as well.)
The fourth and last card I drew was the major arcana card, The Sun.
This is a very positive card and since it is situated in the last position in the four card draw, it represents not my near future, but a future that is possible for me further down my time line. It is showing me that a dawn will come after the darkest period of my life I’ve experienced so far in my life. It indicates fulfillment as well. All I’ve really ever wanted out of my life is to be as content and happy as I can in whatever situation I find myself in. It’s hard to be an optimist when all you see around you is darkness and pain. I know that all too well. However, this card gives me hope that the sun will again shine on mine and my daughter’s lives and that our deepest heart’s desires will be fulfilled. This rekindles my hope, which has been suffering for the last year and a half (basically since my mother died).
I hope this post was interesting to ya’ll. If there are any questions or help that I can give, please comment and I will answer you as quickly as I can. I realize that what’s going on in my life isn’t really that interesting or that important to anyone else but me, however I hope that the tarot card meanings were informative and helpful to ya’ll.
I want to thank everyone who comments and follows me. It is truly an honor.

Dark Moon Magick
From ten-and-a-half to fourteen days after the full moon. The dark moon is a time for ridding oneself of bad habits, Binding spells, for exploring our darkest recesses and understanding our angers and passions. Also bringing justice to bear.
Dark Goddess Hecate
“The Earth began to bellow, trees to dance
And howling dogs in glimmering light advance
Ere Hekate came.”
Dark Goddess Hecate’s celebration day is November 16
The Goddess Hecate was a deity of the night, crossroads, life and death. She was called Most Lovely One, the Distant One, Queen of the World of Spirits, goddess of witchcraft. To the Thracians especially, Hecate was goddess of the Moon, the dark hours, and the Underworld. Midwives were connected with her.
Some myths say Hecate was the daughter of the Titans Tartaros and Night; other versions say of Perseus and Asteria (Starry-Night), or of Zeus and Hera. We do know her worship did not originate in Greece. One of her sacred animals was the toad, a symbol of conception. She was called the goddess of transformation as she ruled over the various passages of life, and could change forms or ages.
Hecate was considered to be the third aspect of the Moon, the Hag or Crone (Carrier of Wisdom). The Greeks called Hecate the Hag of the Dead. (The word “hag” may have come from the Egyptian word “heq”, meaning a matriarachal ruler who knew magickal words of power.)
An ally of Zeus, she was accompanied by a pack of hounds.
An aspect of the Amazon goddess, Hecate’s chariot was pulled by dragons. Her symbols were the key and the cauldron. The women who worshipped her often stained their palms and soles with henna. Her festivals were held at night by torchlight. Every year on the island of Aegina in the Saronic Gulf, a mysterious festival was held in her honor.
Black Candle Magic…
The black candle is very powerful. It is one of the most protective colors. It can be used to bring a person back down to earth. It can also be used in various ways to uncover secrets. It can be used in meditation, to help us find the light within the dark. It stabilizes and awakens greater responsibility. It is most effective when burnt with a white candle. Too much black can manifest depression.
Use Black candles for magic with…
The God, New moon magic, Male energy, banishing Magic, Diet, Protection; Repelling negativity; Binding, shapshifting. Use black candles for mirror Scrying. Traditional candles for the dead during remembrance rituals at Samhain (Halloween)
Black Salt is used in banishing, binding rituals or to quiet bothersome neighbors. Magically used to remove negative energies from items, or places. Often used to remove hexes and other harmful or negative energies. Cleanse your magical implements in a bath of black salt and water… and then wash in a bath of sea salt to purify the item and allow in only positive energies.
A PERFECT ingredient for filling ‘Binding Poppets’ for a powerful outcome. Place a black candle in a pile of black salt for Samhain Remembrance rituals, sprinkle Ouiji Boards with Black Salt before use.
*Making a black mirror at home
Here is a simple method for making a black mirror at home.
Buy a picture frame, complete with the glass.
Pick up some black paint at the craft/hardware shop, best use gouache paint, acrylic or oil based.
Make sure you have a paintbrush!
Disassemble the frame and lay the glass on a piece of newspaper.
Paint the backside of the glass with the black paint and let dry. (I recommend 2-3 coats.)
After it is all dry, if there is any need clean the outer part of the glass with winnow cleaner to make it extra shiny and pretty.
Place the painted glass into the picture frame the unpainted glass side facing outwards.
You can glue various magical items to your black magic picture frame, like herbs, crystals, stones, shells, feathers etc
Use with black candle, slightly tilted for candle Scrying, especially effective when the Sun is in Scorpio, October.

While the sabbats are solar festivals that celebrate and honor the Sun, God and male energy, esbats are rituals celebrated by witches and pagans to revere the moon, and the feminine energy represented by her lunar cycle.
Esbats, derived from the French esbattre, meaning “to frolic,” are gatherings or solitary rituals held every month on the night of that month’s full moon, to worship the goddess as represented by the moon. Some groups and solitaries may hold their esbats on the night of the new moon, however. It is also the correct time to hold an esbat, and some motivated groups or persons may hold rituals on both nights. Esbats may also be known as lunar rituals.
While sabbats are strictly days of celebration, esbats are known as “working” rituals. This is usually the time set aside for a coven, groups or solitaries to perform magick, such as casting spells for the success of a new endeavor, healing rituals, etc.

Tips for Spell work
Fashion Bread Dough into Dollar sign and bake. Serve as a symbolic altar offering for money spells.
To terminate a marital feud, cut and cook cabbage during a waning Moon.
To keep the evil eye from casting its glare on you, carry a mojo bag filled with sage.
Be sure to let your hair flow loose during ritual work to enhance the power of the act .
Call on the crone goddess Bellona when attempting to communicate with spirits of the dead, offerings on your altar should include apples and bloodstones.
Accentuate the potency of a pomander love charm by including orris root powder as an ingredient.
When conducting a protection spell, light a black candle to absorb the negative energy.
Use black licorice as a deity offering.
Scatter black cohosh leaves in the corner of a room to evict a negative energy force.
The purpose of this spell is to rid yourself of the negative energies of someone who is mentally or emotionally abusing you. If done properly, it will not harm the object of the spell nor will it affect his or her daily life in any way. It will simply make the person powerless to mentally or emotionally harm you.
Perform when Moon is dark
Small cloth doll,(poppet) leave the head unstitched until you are ready to begin the ritual Needle and thread
Some personal item from the person you want to bind (fingernail clippings, hair, handwriting sample)
Cauldron or other fireproof container
Piece of parchment paper and pen or quill
One candle at each quarter (optional)
Call the quarters – I like to use candles at each quarter to form a circle of fire for extra protection. Light the black candle Concentrating deeply on the person you are binding, place the personal object inside the head of the doll and sew it shut.Tie the black ribbon around the poppet’s head, signifying the binding of that person.
‘With harm to none, my will be done
I hereby bind you (name of person)
Your words cannot harm me
Your thoughts cannot harm me
You cannot harm me’
Continue chanting this or something like it until you feel power surging through you. Visualize the person helpless to slander or verbally and mentally abuse you while you are chanting.
~ Now, to bind the spell ~
If you have a sigil or a craft name, sign it on the small piece of paper. If not, sign your own full name. If others are working the ritual with you, they too should sign the paper. With the sterilized needle, prick one of your fingers and put a small drop of blood over your signature. Again, if others are working with you, they should place a drop of blood over their signatures. (using a different needle, of course) Fold the paper, light it on fire and drop it into the cauldron (which should be on a heat-proof surface!). Meditate on the flames until the paper completely burns away. If you are working with a group, join hands at this point and feel the power surging around the circle as the spell is bound. Ground and center
Release the circle. Thank the Goddess and God for their protection and power Bury the doll as far away from you as possible within the next few days.
“You are bound to that which you bind !”
Spell to Raise Spirits
To see spirits, old European grimoires recommend mixing together aloe, pepper, musk, vervain, and saffron and burning this in a cemetery. We can adapt this for other locations (like those in which the spirit lived) by adding a bit of sweet grass or tobacco to a specially prepared incense. Create the incense on the anniversary of the death of the individual you wish to contact. This is then burned at 11 am, in the safety of a magic circle that also holds symbolic items to connect you to the entity. An incantation to encourage the spirit’s presence is:
“Guardians of the Spirit realm, hear and guide my plea.
When the witching hour rings true, bring my friend (loved one, etc.) ________ to me.
Other souls who hear my call are not welcome in this place.
Only the one known as _____ may enter sacred space.”
Repeat the request three times, twenty minutes apart, then wait quietly for indications of a presence. Signs include the scent of flowers or a favored cologne, a cool wind, movement of curtains, and candles going out or twitching erratically. Once you feel sure the spirit is with you, do not make it remain overly long. Take care of your business, say farewell, and thank the guardians for their assistance.
* Communication with and understanding the purposes of spirits:
! Word of Warning !
Spiritual entities should not be banished or called for amusement. It is best to contact a knowledgeable, experienced psychic for advice or assistance before undertaking any of these spells.
~ Timing ~
In-between times (noon, midnight, dusk, and dawn). Halloween. Seasons of late fall and winter. Moon in Libra. Eclipses. Wednesday.
Witches Fivefold kiss
This was traditionally part of the ritual between the priest and priestess, as well as part of the great rite.
“Blessed be thy feet which have brought thee in these ways
Blessed be thy knees that kneel at the sacred altar
Blessed be thy sex, without which we would not be here
Blessed be thy breast, formed in beauty and strength
Blessed be thy lips, that they shall utter thy sacred names…”
To Curse a book
“By the powers of witches and mages
By the wisdom of crones and sages
By the Moon as it moves through its stages
By Hecate and lunar rages
By the Sphinx and for the ages
I craft a curse upon these pages.”

To Beckon a Person
To beckon a someone, write the persons name on parchment paper in Dove’s blood ink, fold paper three times and put under candle holder. light a white candle that you have “dressed” in Rosemary oil and rolled in dry Rosemary leaves. If you have a picture of the person put it next to candle. Stand to the East while saying:
“If you are turning towards me
know I turn also to you,
and come to me in love
If you are thinking of me
know I think also of you,
and come to me in love
If you are saying my name
know that I say your name, and call you to me
and come to me in love
Repeat as needed.
Timing; When Mercury rules, Moon in Gemini, Wednesdays. Leave the candle to burn out until you here from the one you call.
The Witch’s Bottle protects the Witch from all negativity for as long as the bottle stays underground. This spell is an important part of the PectiWitan focus of my tradition because once you have created your bottle, there is no need to cast a circle for protection.
Making the Bottle:
– Take a small jar and fill it about halfway with sharp objects such as pins, needles, nails, screws, etc.
– Fill the rest of the bottle with urine and perhaps a spot of menstrual blood
– Tightly seal
– Use your athame (if you have one) to dig a hole (Make sure you chose a place that is unlikely to be disturbed)
– Place the bottle in the hole and cover with dirt

Witches Bottle Chant
‘I am a witch of ancient lore, I petition these trees, and forest floor.
Converge myself upon this site, spider weaving power and might.
Air and Fire, Water and Earth, aid in my quest, I call you forth.
Aradia, Aradia, I intone, thrice the power you have shone.
Open my spiral of strength and sorcery, encompass the soul you have granted me.
Pentacle of old, stones of deep, protection around, assistance I seek.
Marry my veins, to this Earth, Cernunnos I summon you forth.
Steele needles and pins, red blood of sins.
Buried deep in clandestine dusk, liquid Venus, scent of musk.
Hear my words from Moon to Moon, cite the Lord & Lady’s Rune
By the law of three times three, this spell is done, so mote it be…..

The most important symbol of Witchcraft is the pentacle. The pentacle (or pentagram) is a Witches symbol of protection and positive power. The five points signify earth, air, fire, water and spirit.
The symbol of Witchcraft, The Pentacle, is a bold and fascinating statement about our place in the Universe. The pentagram represents an ancient concept that can be found in philosophical thought in both East and West. Although over 8,000 years old, the image of the pentagram is applicable in our modern world. The pentagram tells us that we have the ability to bring Spirit to Earth; this applies to every area of practical day-to-day living, as well as spiritual thought. The ability of bringing Spirit to Earth is what makes us whole.
Earth: (lower left hand corner) represents stability and physical endurance.
Fire: (lower right hand corner) represents courage and daring.
Water: (upper right hand corner) represents emotions and intuition.
Air: (upper left hand corner) represents intelligence and the arts.
Spirit: (at the topmost point) represents the All and the Divine.
I woke from an amazing vision this morning. The goddess Kali has given me a vision of what my life will be like in the future if I continue on this path of improving my physical health along with still exploring and learning about myself via my spirituality. It was an amazing, light filled and golden experience. I can’t explain the feeling. The reason I know that Kali gave it to me is because in my vision, I saw myself on the porch of my house at sunrise doing a sun salutation (yoga) and when I raised my arms, I saw a tattoo of her on my back and when I raised my arms it was like my arms and my body became part of her and we were both just sitting in the vastness and amazing golden morning. I felt my heart was filled with light and laughter and my pain was completely gone. I was really happy for the first time in my life and I knew that my happiness and contentment didn’t rely on anyone else but me and that gave me a feeling of wonderful power over myself that I’ve never really known. I think she gave me this as an encouragement to keep going the way I have started. She is letting me know that I’m on the right path. Blessed Kali never fails to answer me or help me when I need her. Thank you blessed Mother, beautiful Creator and wondrous Goddess. I am in awe of you.
The reversed Eight of Cups suggests that you may be feeling confused about where your best options lie. Part of you wants to explore new horizons and possibilities but another part of your fears that in doing so, you will miss out on what your current circumstances have to offer.
The Eight of Cups reversed also represents knowing when to walk away from a situation that is ultimately not working for you. Even though there are some fundamental issues that have not been resolved, you know that no matter how hard you try these will probably never be resolved. It hurts you to have to walk away with this lack of closure but you know this is what is needed right now. Sometimes, however, there may be a lack of commitment to walking away, whereby one day you are ready to leave and by the next day you are having doubts and wanting to stay.
The reversed Eight of Cups can reflect hopeless, aimless drifting from one place to the next by someone who cannot stand to be confined to just one setting or someone who never quite fits in. You may fear intimacy and have difficulty making and keeping your commitments. When things become too difficult, you quickly escape and leave behind your troubles, rather than dealing with them head on.
This is my actual Tarot layout for today. I just did four cards because I’m too tired to go into anything more complicated, but I think it tells me a lot about where I am right now.
The eight of cups reversed crossed with the six of cups suggesting that I’m adrift and unsure of which direction I could take or that I’m contemplating or actually running from my responsibilities. I think I feel like it’s more that I’m adrift right now. I’ve left something behind that I regret as well, but I knew it was the best thing for me. The six of cups crossed over the eight of cups suggests that I’ve forgotten to take care of my inner child or that I’ve forgotten what makes me really happy or that I’ve forgotten what is really important to me.
The next two cards, however represent a more positive near future. The nine of pentacles suggests that in the near future I will get to relax and enjoy the fruits of my labor. It suggests that my self confidence and self assurance will return. It also suggests that I will be in harmony with nature and know how to bring that into my life to benefit my higher self. The next card, the King of Cups suggests that in the near future, I will be more in control of my emotions, which echoes the previous card in the way that it suggests that my self confidence and assurance will return to me. It’s not that I won’t feel my emotions, but that I will be more in control of them, which is a good thing. I hate to be on an emotional rollercoaster. It suggests that I will have a deeper understanding of my feelings and motivations. One of the things the king of cups represents is compassion, which I feel has been intermittent with me for awhile simply because I’m so focused on my chronic pain and trying to figure out how to deal with it. Maybe this card suggests that I will be able to use my experience to help others in similar situations?
While I do feel adrift right now (there is a retrograde happening right now which does tend to make one feel adrift or out of balance), the cards tell me that my near future is very positive and that I will get some emotional healing and restored compassion, self-assurance and confidence. This is good. I’m looking forward to it.
It has come to my attention over the past few weeks that I have really drawn some sensitive people into my life. Not surprising really, since I’m very sensitive myself and used to struggle A LOT with picking up other people’s energies. This is something that I think a lot of introvert’s struggle with daily,…
